 GIUSEPPE TORNELLO
Giuseppe Tornello nasce a Ramacca (CT) il 25/11/1939. Fin da studente si interessa alla storia e alla ricerca di notizie del suo paese. Nel 1960 a Milano, pubblica il suo primo libro su Ramacca: “Il mio paese si chiama Ramacca”.
Essendo il primo storico ad occuparsi del paese di Ramacca ha meritato il plauso dei suoi lettori e di tutti gli abitanti del Comune, tanto da essere spronato a scrivere una seconda edizione aggiornata nel 1973 con il titolo “Ramacca dalle origini ai nostri giorni”.
Proseguendo nelle sue ricerche, pubblica nel 1983 “Giacomo Santagati il sindaco”, portando alla ribalta la figura di un grande primo sindaco che incominciò a dare le basi al piccolo paese di Ramacca.
Nel 2000 mette a fuoco tutti i personaggi famosi che sono nati o sono passati da Ramacca con il libro “Ospiti illustri a Ramacca”, ricevendo numerosi elogi e lusinghiere critiche dall’ambiente storico letterario internazionale.
Oggi, continuando la sua corsa storica sul paese di Ramacca sta allestendo un altro volume in via di pubblicazione.
A lui l’onore di essere stato il primo ad interessarsi di Ramacca, seguito da altri storici ramacchesi e non, e di aver dato un'importanza letteraria e storica a questo grande paese.

Joseph Tornello was born in Ramacca (CT) Italy, on 25/11/1939. Since student he interests him in the history and the search of news of his country. In 1960 in Milan, he publishes his first book on Ramacca: “My country calls Ramacca”.
Due the fact he has been the first historian to deal himself to the village of Ramacca, he has deserved the applause of his readers and all the inhabitants, so much to be spurred to write a second edition adjourned in 1973 with the title “Ramacca from the origins to our days.”
Continuing in his searches, he public in 1983 “Giacomo Santagati the Mayor”, bringing the figure of a great first Mayor that began to give the bases to the small village of Ramacca.
In 2000 it puts in evidence all the famous people that were born or they are stopped in Ramacca with the book “illustrious Guests to Ramacca”, receiving numerous praises and flattering criticisms from the international literary historical environment.
Today, continuing his historical run on the country of Ramacca is preparing another volume in the street of publication.
To him the honor to have been the first one to take an interest himself of Ramacca, followed from other historical ramacchesi and not, and to have given a literary and historical importance to this great country.
